Clear expectations for a responsible practice platform

Using the platform

You must provide accurate information, keep your sign-in secure, and use the platform for lawful personal study. Official NTA notices and information bulletins are the source of truth for eligibility, syllabus, dates, application, admit card, and counselling.

Our interfaces, timing, marking, question style, difficulty, and test-centre assumptions can differ from the real examination. Questions are practice content, not leaked, recalled, or official papers.

Privacy and data handling

We collect account details, profile information, test attempts, analytics, support messages, and payment records only for operating, securing, improving, and supporting the platform. We do not sell student data.

• Access is limited by role and business need.
• Payment and invoice records are retained as tax and accounting law requires.
• Test attempts and analytics are retained for up to 24 months unless a legal exception applies.
• Deletion and data-rights requests are logged and handled within 30 days where applicable.
• Vendors must be reviewed for security, location, confidentiality, breach notice, and exit terms.

Do not submit passwords, payment-card details, or unrelated personal information in support requests or the subscription email importer.

Payments, subscriptions, and refunds

Prices, billing cycles, renewal dates, and refund terms are shown before purchase. A subscription tracker is an internal record; it does not charge, cancel, or modify a provider account.

Refund eligibility depends on the plan terms displayed at purchase, use of premium content, and applicable consumer law. Contact support with the transaction reference. Never send a full card number or authentication secret.

Minors and parental consent

If a student is under 18, a parent or legal guardian must provide verifiable consent before the student uses the service. Consent withdrawal and children’s data deletion requests are handled subject to legal retention duties.

The current Google sign-in flow verifies the user’s Google email. It does not replace a legally required parental-consent process; that flow must be completed before publishing a minor-facing experience.

Acceptable use and test integrity

• No harassment, spam, fraud, account sharing, scraping, reverse engineering, cheating assistance, or attempts to compromise the service.
• No claims about exam leaks or guaranteed predictions.
• Do not upload copyrighted or personal material without permission.
• Results are indicative practice signals. Neutral feedback is used for learning and leaderboards can be disabled.

Content and intellectual property

CBT Prep Zone content is original, licensed, or supplied with permission. You may use it for personal study. Copying, reselling, republishing, automated extraction, or presenting our content as official examination material is prohibited.

Suspension, termination, and appeals

We may warn, restrict, suspend, or close accounts for policy breaches, fraud, chargeback abuse, security risks, or legal orders. Where practical, we explain the reason in writing. Appeal within 15 days through the support contact; we target a reply within 7 working days.

Support and grievance redressal

Support and grievance contacts are being finalized before public launch. The published page must name the grievance officer, email, phone, working hours, registered address, acknowledgement target, and escalation path. Consumer complaints may also use the National Consumer Helpline at 1915.

For a student in distress, respond with care and refer to current official helplines. Verify numbers before publication; in immediate danger, call 112 in India.
